The GTO has a superior build quality designed into it. The GTO feels more solid to me than the Caddy CTS-V's do as well, and I prefer the interiors of the GTO's. I wish GTO would of left the GTO survive for a few more years until a replacement was ready for it. Bob

The G8 makes the GTO look like a McDonald's toy Wife just test drove one and wants to build one now...

LS1 GTO

LS2 GTO

is that wrong too?

I dont mean to take sides b/c i have no reason to, i dont have a gto or a f-body, but i practically live at the track during the weekends, im around LS1 owners alot and from what i've seen heard and driven couple of times, i kinda have to side with 6LITEREATER. His not dissing on the gto, his just saying if you wanted a car to take to the track everyday he'd rather take the f-body over the gto b/c its more of its purpose, pure performance b/c its not nearly as comfortable as the gto to live with but if he wanted to go for more luxury and sporty and not just straight up performance, he'd take the gto. Hopefully i summarized it well...

Im going to be buying a T/A here at may, so fairly soon, i personally love the look of the T/A b/c its just plain beautiful you can get the feel of not to mess around with that car at the stop light but you do not get that feeling with a gto, looks wise of course. Im 19 and not really into the luxury mindset just yet, im sure when i become alittle more older and more pickyer i'll be annoyed with the terrible interior and the rattles of the T/A but not just yet, lol

When I said it makes it LOOK like a Mickey D's toy I was being literal... Refering to the styling differences in the cars (interior and exterior)

Hey 6LITEREATER i love your hood, it looks similar to the ones on the gmmg's if you've ever seen the video on their site you'd know what im talking about. It makes it look like a rhyno nose, lol it looks really mean, what is it called, your hood type? and how much was it? is it noticably better than the ss hood?

Thanks It is the Sunoco hood made by www.vfnfiberglass.com It is a copy of the Dick Harrell hood which was a copy of the Sunoco/Penske car. They are normally $550 but tell them you are a LS1tech member and they give you 10% off everyday so it is only $495

I like the SS hood as well but if you have a Z I'd say get this hood
