I did a search on LS2 cam GTO's and found this

My ? is
450rwhp really what to expect from a cammed LS2 goat.

For example
Lets say
I had a 05 GTO A4
Lets say I had the following mods.
CAI
LT HEADERS
CAT BACK EXHAUST
3200 VIG
AND A CAM (JUST PICK A CAM TO USE)
What kind of horse power could I expect from it?
What kind of ET?

Do people even do gears in these cars?

check the dyno results on ls1gto. As for the gearing question, the only available ratios are 3.07, 3.46(stock), 3.73, and 3.91.

How big of a cam. I went with an FTI streetsweeper II and made 432/398. That is with LT's, catless mids, and a "CAI". The specs on that one are 236 240 .630 .630 111LSA. I could have made maybe 15 -20 more with a FAST 90.

i would expect around 420 through a stalled auto depending of course on how big you want to go with the cam.

My cam is a 232/234 595. 598. @112lsa I have pacesetter longtubes, catless mids, lpe intake, and a 3400 stall. I made 408 rwhp 367rwtq. With the big cam and stock stall I went 13.0@109 ( car 0-30 was a dog on stock converter) However tomorrow night I will test out my new converter on some et streets I am expecting a 12.3-12.5@110+

hpe's mega death cam is putting 440 to the ground with headers so add some more bolt ons and your at 450

i think the cam specs are 244/241 .620 / .620 112 lsa

I think 450rwhp might be a bit optimistic, I have basically the same performance mods with the exception of the udp setup and cam is pretty close to what yours is and I make 408rwhp 367rwtq through a stalled auto (3400stall). Look to make around 420rwhp

New times with my new converter with a setup similar to what your doing, I ran a 12.4@110 which is what i expected. I feel I can get this to be a 11.9-12.1 car. That 12.4 run was on a hot lap basically.

I have the same cam but I have the Kooks long tubes with cats. I also have the Fast, SLP underdrive, 160 Tstat, bullet mufflers and X pipe. I have the M6 and made 429.3rwhp and 403 rwtq. Since I have added teh LS7 with an aluminum flywheel. 7.5lbs lighter should make a little more HP to the ground.

408RWHP & 380WRTQ is what I put down.

AZPS02 cam, LT's, no cats, exhaust, FAST 90 intake, dyno tune and Yank SS3600 stall is what I had then. I've since done a few things and I'm hoping that it makes 415RWHP and 400RWTQ.

450 rwhp is pretty optimistic. Add some L92/L76 combo in there and its more realistic to hit the 450 mark.
