Theres a small thread right now over on LS1go that the quickest bone stock GTO went a 12.76 or something. Needless to say I raised the bullshit flag. The quickest bone stoc fbody I think was a little slower then that and come on the Fbody has more power from the live axle and weighs ALOT less.

Well I better chime in and ask what you all think I can run with headers, exhaust, intake, p&p throttle body, 3000 stall, and a tune? Oh and drag radials as well.

why are you taking this so personal. i think you have posted more comments on this topic then i EVER have. its like a 04 gto in the 12s would mean you gonna die. let it go and move on with your life buddy.

fully stock off the lot 13.3 @ 107

an 06 gto can get into the twelves stock... most of the fbodys do all thier free mods first...lol i was pulling enough mph to blow 12's stock... that was with a 2.2 60ft on street tires... at sar.

at hrp with minor weight reduction and some drag radials it would have busted a 12.9 stock

With that I'd say at least high 12's on a cool night. I think I seen a '04 GTO with similar mods run a 12.7 or 12.6 at 108

I've been running my GTO at the track for almost 3yrs now and can say on a cold day at Atco, it will run 12's. An automatic will not run 12's stock since it can't get the RPM's high enough on launch. Low 13's is possible for an A4 car but will need a good street tire. BFG KDWS are not optimal for drag racing but the KDW's will do better.

I only posted my 13.02 run since a lot of people complain about Atco as a cheater track. Can we help it that NJ has great air! I ran a 12.73@108 last Nov/Dec (can't remember exactly). The 13.02 I ran only did a 1.95 60 ft, but with the 12.73 I had a 1.81 60 ft. The trap speed was the same for both runs. I also ran a 12.76. 12.79, 12.85 that day.

The car was stock bit took out the D/S headlight (good for .15/1.5 MPH) and took out the spare tires/jack. The car does have Toyo T1-R tires which hooked great!

During the hot months, the car runs 13.50's-13.70's. Just need to keep the car cool!

I have an '05 GTO M6 (12.89)@ 109 MPH bone stock, built 3/2005, purchased 7/2005. 28,000 miles on the clock today, bone stock to the paper filter. I am in North LA county, CA. What is so hard to believe? I also own an '04 Cobra that is bone stock as well.

I dunno where all these people are getting these bone stock times from but low 13's high twelves isnt happening with a stock LS1 Gaot. I think the LS2 goats can probably pull off a low 13 high twelve with a good driver in good air and hooking on good streeet tires. As we all know the GTOs are heavy and just dont run what they were expected too... but i know my 02 camaro with slp lid and stock 3.23s out back will outrun any stock 6.0 or 5.7 GTO. i have did it to 5 or 6 now... so come on guys... high twelves... think logically about it for a second...

It's all in the driver... I was also running on semi-bald Khumo street tires...
