I said a "Good" kit
including a window switch, FPSS, heater, lines, ect....

I'm a big fan of making sure you have the safety gear

btw,
a tune is probably the best bang for your buck you can do (HP/$$$)

I was a lil off on the price, it appears they are $425.

Here is the quote from gunnar at patriot from another thread:

Use the parts for sale section here and on LS1GTO.com. Port and polish your own throttle body. Two hole mod in the air intake. Descreen the maf,Coolant crossover. JBA catless mids on stock manifolds, remove the resonator and replace it with a H-pipe. Theres tons of stuff just do some searches in the engine sections.

Depending on where you live is the kicker. If you live somewhere warm and it doesnt hardly rain or snow then the coated pacesetters will last as long as you own the car if not longer. They would still last a long time in any climate as long as the coating stays doesnt flake. There have not been any issues with pacesetters since they came out with Version 2.

They fit great and we have not had any issues with ours.

I live in PHX, AZ and we have installed 6 sets in the last 5 weeks on local cars.

Other header brands are stainless and you will have no issues with them. I recommended the Pacesetters since you sounded like you were on a budget. I think you can pick up noncoated SW (stainless steel) for around 800. Just call around for better prices than what is posted on the sites.

$4G's as in $4K

you can get heads, cam, fast intake manifold, and injectors (installed) for that

you can almost get a Magnacharger for that

Headers, Cam, and tune for about that too !!!!!
(that's what I would do)

oh wait,
that's prettymuch what I did

For the same headers with catless midpipes at the other place I mentioned (not a sponsor here so dont know if I can say their name) I got mine for 410 shipped. Coated about 130.00 more. I dont think that price can be beat for the PS headers.
