well i just bought a nice condo and the goat payment is really weighing me down and i just dont want to do it but i know its necessary. I need to sell the goat. My question is what is a reasonable price that i can sell my goat for?? Its an 04 pulse red 6speed with the mods listed. I have a good amount of money in it and it has 26k miles on the clock and is very well taken care of. Sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately, you are probably trying to sell a goat at the worst possible time. If you could get 18-19k for it, you'd be doing well.

 

That sucks. Wish your car was bone stock. I'd be interested in it.

 

My personal opinion is to take her back to stock as much as possible and sell the parts piece meal. You will get more money this way. People are less inclined to buy a modded car just based on the abuse factor. This is what I did when I sold my 00 SS and it worked out just fine. Granted I did not have LT's on her, but she sold very quick this way.

Just as a baseline, I bought my 04 GTO A4 with 14K miles for $16K last year. She was bone stock.

 

At the very least, get rid of the NOS. That will scare people in my honest opintion!

 

In the current condition, I'd say 16,500.00

 

holy ****!! you really think that low? i thought this would be the best time to sell the goat as it is spring? no? also yeah i was thinking about taking off the nitrous even though ive barely used it. But i do take very good care of her. i guess it just depends on the particular buyer is looking for cause some people like to buy cars already hooked up. id consider letting it go for 19k. even at that price im losing my *** on it but you never get back what you put in a car as we all know. thanks guys for the opinions. also i thought the 26k on the clock would help out a lot too

Do you belong to the NHRA or a local track? Sell it there. There are also severla RACE CAR or Modified cars For Sales lists. Find them!!

Get you head out. Things are slow but. You have a special product to sell. All you need to do is find that special person to buy it. 40 years ago my first sales manager, dealership owner told me the follow. Kid, there is an *** for every seat. That statement is still true today. All you need to do is believe.
