Not bad at all..I got a universal coolant tank from pepboys and mounted it next to the radiator and front headlight..the hardest part was drilling the hole..Jeremy

well, i am done with my snorkel setup. I ran a flex tube (3 inch diameter) from the side of the airbox down to the front under ferring (sp?) and setup a small scoop there.

Results: On a 85-90 degree day....

Before sitting at light : IAT was 135-145 degrees
before cruising down the road (45mph): IAT 110 degree
before cruising on highway 80mph: iat 100 degrees roughly

after sitting at light: 100-110 degrees
cruising down the road 45mph: 90-100
cruising on highway: only a few above ambient (roughly 88-92 degrees)

Not bad. totally invisible. not much work to put it in. no body cutting. only small hole cut in airbox. 50 bucks spent.

Good stuff man..do you have a HSRK on there?? It will really help with the heatsoak..Ive also seen people run the tube like you to the fog light hole and take the fog light out..hope that makes since..Jeremy

nah, i dont have the heat soak kit. I am sure it will help, as i bet most of the heat is coming from the thermo getting heat soaked.

i dint want to lose the fog light. it was just as easy to make a scoop, and this cant be seen.
