I got the CF Banshee hood.....finally....and it kicks ***!!





Need to get some new pics up though...

I would love a C/F OEM '04 hood...... but the Woodward is my fav.

So this ram air banshee hood does it actually make any additional power with its True Ram air induction

None of these hoods are true "Ram Air"...so to answer your question, no additional power.

They are just what they are...aftermarket hoods which provide the engine bay a way to cool itself down.

It does however provide a way for ambient air to enter the stock airbox location more quickly, which could help lower your IATs and help reduce heatsoak. It also pulls hot air out the vents in the rear which will help out with the heat situation. Both of these features could help you to make more power consistantly, not necessarily more power over all.

That hood looks great! Is it Fiberglass or steel? Are there washer mounts on it or do you need a kit to mount the washers on the arms?

Worst hood ever made IMO. Looks like a huge ***** on the hood.

It is available in Cf and fiberglass at PFYC.
