Tire recommendations for autocross and street.

If I decide to run slicks for road racing...
what would you recommend, and would it be alright on 245?
I also have sawblades that I plan on using that use 275s, but I still wanna know if there is a good slick for 245s? and what would it be?? Also, if not a slick, even a competition use street/track tire (besides the Nt01)

275/40/17's are probably the most common size for our cars though, and everybody makes them. I've run Kumho V710's, Hoosier R6's and Toyo RA1's, all with pretty good results
. The Toyo tires aren't as sticky as the Hoosiers/Kumhos, but they still work really well

Just so everyone knows, I had GREAT luck with the Yokohama s.Drives. They performed fantastically at Road America this past weekend. I ran 26-28 psi in the tires and they did wonderful.

Kumho Victoracers work great. I ran them for a couple of seasons. They wear like IRON and grip very well. They are also fairly cheap. I would not reocmmend running them in the rain. When fairly new, they have pretty good tred on them. I drove to and from the track and parking lot events on them for a long time. I have switched to V710s since I trailer the car now, but as far as wear, grip and price, I loved the victoracers.
I also have a set of Nitto RIIs. they work decent and have more tred, but don't grip as good as the Victoracers. Didn't try the NT01s, but they are a little better than the RIIs.

Im gonna run NT01s on my snowflakes.. I already have them on the rears... Im also gonna put them on the fronts

However, Im looking to see what I wanna run on my sawblades.. I think theyre 17" so 275/40 17s is what Im assuming.. and Im probably gonna use it for ONLY road race, so Im unsure of what to go with..

If there is another tire with similar characteristics of being pretty well priced, grip decent and last long... Tell me more!!
