Default Seat belt thru harness hole??

Ok, so I know the shoulder straps on a 4/5pt harness will go thru those holes and should be at 90 degrees (parallel to ground) to the cage

but my question is what do you think if i try the seat belt thru that hole? where the belt sits now is pretty much where the stock seat places the belt on my shoulder

but im wondering if me changing the angle and lowering it an inch or so (from the 1st pic you can see the angle change) by threading it thru the harness hole would be a ....well something i might regret
