If you can run slicks, do that. Call the guys listed below and tell them you want some slicks. They'll give you more traction than any DOT-R tire, and last as long or longer. You'll probably have to use more camber to use them effectively, though. I corded my first 2 sets because I thought that -1.8* would be enough. Not even close.

You can try to find some Vette guys that run slicks. Call LG Motorsports. They had a C5 that they road raced. Ask them what they did. Make sure you both are talking about C5 suspension pieces, though (not a tube frame).
Those R100s are going to be sticky! Have fun running away from everyone with them!!

Bias are more forgiving of sliding around on the track. Radials prefer to be used like a surgical instrument - no sliding and be very precise.
Oh, and an FYI for people running live axles with radial slicks. Get the pressure up near 30 hot. Perhaps a little more. You aren't supposed to get over 33psi or so, but with 27psi hot, I was rolling them and ended up wearing out the edges to cords in just 1 race.
