Check your tire pressure your first few runs usually want stay around 38psi up front and depending on the tires 30-32psi out back.
Until you get 3 or 4 events under your belt dont make any drastic changes to the car. It will force you to learn the car and will allow you to really exploit future mods.
If possible ask to ride along with as many other cars as possible, pay attention to what works.
Have fun and dont get caught up with those ******** that just talk **** because you run an Fbody!
Even though I posted faster times than all the imports and the beemers, I still get dismissed as a potential good driver and very capable car.
Oh well.....

If you notice before the last slalom I'm carrying alot of speed and at the end of the wall the turn was almost a full 90. Since I had already slowed down there was no point in accelerating to go right and then brake again. Instead I created a smooth apex to the left and follow it all the way through which allows me to setup perfectly for the next cone.
If I went right, I could of went a little faster through the first cone, but it would make the second cone harder to maneuver, I would of either hit it or given up a smooth line.
Kind of deceiving, but I did try it and it never netted me good times. Someone told me smooth is fast and fast is smooth.
Going thru slaloms IMO it's easier to start a little slower with the first cone and progressively increase the speed thru the other cones. It just makes it so much easier to get through them cleanly. Being safe I guess.
