Default Interesting question *Headlight covers + road racing*

Going to my first road race soon and was wondering how well those headlight blackouts stay on the car. Point being I would like to protect the headlights from a stray rock, etc. So, any of you guys with the headlight covers have em fly off on ya?

Im not sure how they're attatched, but if it was me I would put them on and then put that blue painters tape over them to keep rocks from going through them into the headlights...and to keep them from flying off lol

I have the small black ones on my parking lights, they've been on for over 40k with no issues. Those ones are pretty well secured though, velcroed and slid behind the fascia... Keep us posted.

ive never seen blackouts on an LS1 camaro, but i assume they snap on somehow. if youre worried about it, take them off and tape the lights like everyone else does.
