Anybody going? I'll be in the HPDE 2 run group in the WS6.

Awesome. Have fun and be safe.

Also, what suspension setup are you running?

Was a rainy weekend for sure, but we managed to have fun. Like the book says, it is an art to racing in the rain! Especially in an F-body! We did manage to get a few dry runs in and I ran a personal best lap of 2.28 on Steet tires. Seems the car got a lot faster when my 250lb+ instructor got out of the car! It was fun camping out in my son's new race car trailer and being in the middle of everything all weekend long. Here's a few pics to enjoy.

I also got a new app for my IPhone that does lap times and other cool stuff, here's the track map of my fastest lap of the weekend.

Very nice! Hate to sound like a broken record but I'm still curious to your setup. Did you have to ask NASA to run without TTops? I just assumed they were required to be on and locked. I'd rather have them off if I could get away with it.

Sorry I never replied to your question. I'm running Strano Springs with Koni Yellow DA's 35mm front bar and a Hellwig adjustable 28mm rear bar. I have prothane bushings in the lower control arms and Strano offset upper control arm bushings. I'm running stock 3:42's with an Auborn Road Race Diff. With Slicks I'm running Hoosier A6's, 315 18's on Z06 wheels and for streets I run 315's on the 17's from the Z06. All of the pictures are on the street tires, I did get one dry session on the A6's but that was it.

NASA made me take them out because they are glass, I'd rather run with them in if I had the choice, it's better areo. I think there is one pic with them in before they caught me with them.

Hey, Thanks for the replay. It was a blast even with the Rain and all. I live down at the oceanfront of VB. There is a pretty good local scene here for car guys. There's two AutoX's a month, a Cars and Coffee event once a month, and the Sat night meets at Jenro's. There's also a big car show on the boardwalk this weekend that a couple of my F-body friends are headed to, hit me up for details.
