Default opinions on LCA's, control arm brkt's, and panhard rods

Hi guys, Im looking at opinions on LCA's, control arm brkt's, and panhard rods for my 95Z.

After research it looks to me like the best options are G2 and Global West. I'd be curious as to fit and function between the two. Also, how much of an improvement is there in performance/maintenance with Spherical bearings? How much added noise? As far as noise I have heard comments both ways.

The application is a daily driver that sees lots of corner carving with little strip time. The car has been lowered 2" and the rear axle sees 440HP & TQ.
And yes, there is a Random Tech TQ arm in my garage waiting to be installed.

Thanks in advance. msw

I have the Global West LCAs. Poly on one end and their sperical bushing on the other end. I don't like them too much. They are noisy and they can not be rebuilt {at least by me} like other rod ended LCAs. The LCAs do not have that much mileage on them, maybe 15K at the most.

I'm going to buy a set of LGs aluminium rod ended LCAs. When the ends eventually start to make noise {which I hear takes a while}, you can just order some new ends.

Go with LG's lightweight Aluminum stuff. It's quality is unsurpassed.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Judd, are you saying that the spherical G2's are quieter to begin with than GW?

Don't really know for sure about that as I haven't had the chance to try the LG stuff. I just know that the LG stuff comes highly recommended AND when they do start to make noise, you can rebuild them unlike the GW stuff.

I have the Global West ones. the double spherical ones. They have considerable road noise but they are incredible. They never bind and they give me GREAT traction. I have those along with GW upper a-arms in the front and the track link and panhard bar. They are all extremely high quality and have had not a problem with any of there stuff. I have had them on for about 40k miles and they are still perfect. I drive my car hard too.

Thanks Turnin'LT4,

I saw you have a MORE Performance 383 under the hood. How were they to work with? When I was researching my 396 I called them a few times with questions and found they had allot of time for me. Seemed to be good people.

Yes, they are GREAT people. I know all of them personally and they are really great people. They will all turn over backwards for you to get the car the way you want it. I would highly recommend spending your money there. They will get it done right.
