Default Sparco vs. Corbeau seats?

I need to order a pair of seats for my Camaro and I am looking at either the Sparco Torino ($600 each) or the Corbeau CR1 ($400 each). I "hear" that Sparco seats are better but how much better? Are they really worth the extra $200 each? I want something that feels nice and holds me in turns.

thanks,

To be honest they almost look identical. I have only sat in the corbeaus.

I liked them alot. I sat in the top of the line model corbeaus though. It really made the car feel like a race car. These are the ones I sat in http://corbeau.com/products/prosport/prosport.shtml

I am a Sparco kind of guy, HOWEVER, both of those seats are near identical. I would go for the cheaper ones in this case.

they are quite a bit taller than the stock seats but that give much better head support.........had them less than a week and wouldn't have anything else.....

You really can't beat those seats, I would just get something with more side bolstering if you intend to road course. When I went for a courtesy drive tour of a local road course (courtesy drive, my *** !! ) ,I absolutely had no idea that an interior door handle could be used as a seat (literally), because the stock seats that were in that particular Mustang just couldn't keep you from sliding all over the interior of the car on a road course. My face was glued to the side window also . Those cheap *** stock seats just won't do at a course event. You come out of them very quickly. The car that was being used was also a basic stock red GT Mustang.

thanks,
I have a pair of the Sparco Torino's in red that were used for one year. My dad drives the car at the road course and says they work well. I went with some Kirkey Road race seats for this year and have the Sparco's for sale. Don't know if you bought a pair yet or even if red would work for you but I can put them in your hands for a little over the price of the Corbeau's. I normally hang out over at Z28.com but have been coming here lately. Let me know. Thanks. Dave
