Default Texas Motor Speedway Road Course

I just got back from doing the Texas Driving Experience @ TMS. I am simply in love with road racing and autocross now. We got to do vehicle dynamics/autocross stuff in new Mustangs, then take our own cars out on the road course. I recomend that everyone give autocross/road racing a try.

When I was going around the course I experienced a lot of body roll and at times had my whole body leaning against the door. I think I should start looking at some racing seats that are fairly comfortable. Do yall know any good places in north Texas I could go around trying out seats other than car shows?

Glad to see you had fun. I'll also be doing that same course hopefully sometime this summer.

How many times I've said once you try it, you'll throw rocks at drag racing.

I was scheduled to instruct TDE today, but life got in the way.
Who was your instructor? Joe? Neal?

Bobby Archers in Ft. worth and PST at Motorsports Ranch has real racing seats that you can "try on".

Ultra-Shield is in Tyler and you can go out there and have a seat custom made for you.

You also need a 5pt harness ...

I'm headed to Houston Friday to race all weekend at MSR-H. If are in the Houston area, you should stop by and say hello.

I drive the 96 #9 Firebird, and Glenn drives the 95 #70 Z28. We just built and sold the 95 #8 Z28 and have a 94 Formula that is in the que to be built.

Joe was my instructor. Thank you for the places you mentioned. Unfortunately I'm not in the Houston area I'm here in North Dallas. Good luck out there this friday. I bet you and Glenn will have a great time and your right i spit on drag racing now.

Great venue! Picture in my avatar is from one of the events at TMS. Got to spank some Porsches that day, LOL!
