The eyebolts supplied are a specific size and tensile strength for a reason.
Going to Loews and purchasing a zinc plated replacement is asking for trouble.

It's best to play it safe.

i got my eye bolt kits from Jegs... they come with the big round thick backing plates.. nto bad for $6.. looks like i will just have to drill and tap a place...

for the submarine belt.. i see Thunder Racing sells a bar that you can mount under the front part of the seat... anyone here using it?

Go to a BOLT STORE buy grade 10 bolts, then go here and buy some of these for the lap belts..... Bolt them down in the factory location.
