Default What clutch setups do you road racers run?

I'm planning on doing a transmission built, will replace my stupid clutch at the same time..along with the slave. Sick of pedal going to the floor everytime I row through gears.

Will probably go with a lightweight clutch and flywheel of some sort, let me hear what ya got

Edit:
Ok Just read the 4 page clutch thread... I DO NOT want to pull out transmission to check on clutch every few thousand miles... Having a centerforce clutch now looking for something a lot lighter, but nothing as hardcore as Andrew installing in his car.

Some of the pure, race ONLY, trailered f bodies (in CMC/CMC2, AI/AIX) run 'light switch' (engaged or not, NO slipping) small diameter, multi disc racing clutches (i.e.; Quarter Masters, Tilton, AP, Clutch Masters, etc.).

These are NOT for combo/multi purpose use cars!!!

Right, I'm not ready to take car off the street yet. Is textralia a fairly light clutch? I thought they were built for lasting a long time for drag racing with lots of power.

I am about to install my Clutch Masters clutch with a Fidanza flywheel. I have heard good things about this clutch from other road racers and it also has good street manners. I'll keep you posted once I get my car up and running.

Clutchmasters... ahh first time I have heard that name in a while but glad to hear they are still doing good.

I had one of their units 10 years ago in my 1994 300Z Twin Turbo, it was awesome, held multiple crazy runs in my modded ~400rwhp 4,000# car at the time.

LGM sells them I think! i use a stock LS6 but I don't do drag racing. I would like a 5" Quarter Master soon.
