Default Anyone have the JPR cam tool I can rent?

Like it says. Thunder is out of them, and haven't got a shipment in for a while. I was wondering if someone would let me rent one. I would pay shipping both ways too of course. Thanks.

Don't waste your money. Go to Home Depot and get a 5/16" dowel rod. I've used them on every cam swap, and have never looked back.

So does the rod need to be approx 20 inches? Does it have to have the bends at the end?

Nah, you don't need the bends in them. It makes it a little easier to turn them as you push them into the block.

Do you leave them round, or do flats have to be machine/ground along the edge to hold the lifter up?

I sanded mine down like the pics above, but it didn't seem like I needed to. Try using the rods w/o sanding them down and see if it works. You might be able to save some time.

No need to sand them down. Lifter can't go through the tool. It's simply not possible. Just slide them in, make sure they're all the way back, and don't look back.
