What cylinder head for my 415ci? *Advice needed*
Iron Block lq4 bored 4.065
Eagle 4.00" crank/rods/arp rod bolts
diamond custom flat top -5.5cc pistons
total seal ap rings set
Comp XE R lobes, 238/244@.050 114+2 cam
ect....
Ive had the hardest time picking a head for this motor.
Goals:
12:1 or higher compression(the more the better)
500rwhp na and 7xx+ nitrous tune while using a port matched ls6 intake manifold
I need to know if an aftermarket head is worth that much more than a stock cast. To me, in the big picture, a 10 to 20 hp difference between a cnc stock cast and aftermarket head for a price difference of 1000 dollars is not reasonable, as if i want to make up the power ill just change the jets in my nitrous and fuel lines.
So any advise you guys my have for me would be much appreciated as im looking to purchase some new heads in the next week or two. Thanks
