**NEW** BBK LT's, and ORY **LOT's of PICS INSIDE**
Reading this thread makes me feel so much better about the fact that I received mine a few days ago and am installing them this week...I ordered directly from BBK, had a couple questions that I emailed them and had my response within the hour. Great customer service, great price, lets see about sound/performance. I'm sure I won't be disappointed!
Drivers side done, passenger side to go. Drivers side was super easy going in. Basically the car is on ramps with the front jacked up higher on stands but the front wheels are still in contact with the ramps. Drive side went up and in no problem. I did not remove the steering shaft. I am taking a break here and there to cool off, and cleaning as I go so its taking longer than it should. I am also all by myself. So far getting the damn spark plug wires off without breaking them was the most frusterating time waster of the day. Hope to get the passenger side up and in here within a couple hours. Wish me luck!
Oh and so far the only casualty was one of the driver side manifold to cat studs. Damn thing turned about 5 threads before just deciding to shear, oh well. There is still plenty of stud left to get out of the manifold if I want to use them again.

Yeah, the install isn't bad at all, I probably spent just as much time routing the O2 wires, and installing additional heat shielding as I did with the header/y-pipe install.
I installed these on a 'vert and wouldn't recommend it unless you wanna do some extra work.
#1 The y-pipe didn't meet up with the i-pipe. I had to weld an extension on to make the connection.
#2 The tunnel brace/tranny brace didn't fit back on over the y-pipe. I gave him my old tunnel brace off a non-'vert.
That said, the header install was the easiest I've done, the y-pipe clearance was PHENOMENAL, and the merge collector in the Y was nicely done preventing rasp and drone. Also the header flange was nice and sealed very well against the head.
I'd recommend one of these to anyone who isn't a 'vert or wanting larger pipes and on a budget. If you're a vert...just buy the headers and build your own y.

Passenger side was equally easy. I did have to raise the car a few more inches but once high enough it sliped right up. I had to break for family time and dinner. I still have the y pipe to bolt up and switch the 02 sensor harness wires areound at the PCM. I plan to use the rear 02 harness to power the front 02 sensors
Finished up the header/y-pipe install. Ran into a snag though at the end. The outlet to the BBK Y-pipe is the exact same size as the inlet to my SLP catback. I had a suspision this might be a issue. So tommorow I am going to take part of the SLP catback to the exhaust shop and have the end expanded. I plan on getting rid of it down the road, but was going to run it for a while.
So I am just about to order headers and am deciding to go with BBK. Ive heard nothing but good things about them and the price can't be beat. I have one question though. In every picture ive seen of them (on summit racing, and even bbk's website) I do not see o2 bungs in the headers. I see places in the Y pipe but none in the headers themselves. I am wondering if the pictures just aren't accurate and they really have 02 hookups in the headers or if you hook them up in the y pipe.

I got the Chrome as well, the chrome finish was not great on them, but hey, what do you expect for 360$.
Yes I have the LM1. The outlet of the y is 3" about the same as the inlet that slides over the originalal y pipe. I was on Advance auto parts site and the store near me supposedly has a 3" band style clamp I may try before I go getting anything expanded. My GT500 has those style clamps on the exhaust throughout and they work well.

This is a shoot of my chrome headers after they have been in my car for almost 2 years.
