Default 243 heads that were milled to 53cc

looking at picking up a engine.. and the guy said the heads are milled to 53cc chambers.

so how much was it milled, about?
what does that do to my valve geometry?
what length pushrods do i need?
rockers?

ps, motor is complete minus pushrods and rockers... thats where this guys build came to a stop.

depending on what gasket, they are milled around .085-.90,
with a .040 gasket depending on the cam 7.320 or so. need more info.

edit: heres all the details i have at this time

383 short block K1 rotating assembly.
K1 crank 4.000 4340 crank.
K1 6.125 Forged H beams
Wiseco -32cc forged pistons.
Comp cam hydro roller lifters
With 64cc head motor would be 9.4-9.5 or so on comp ratio

LS6 243 Ported heads
New valve job.
Titanium retainers
Milled to a 53cc
2.055/1.6 stainless valves.
Manley valve springs good to .650

631/631 240/244 lobe center 111

those valves will be close to the cylinder walls.

that is an absolutely terrible setup, sorry but its not gonna make near the power it should. Why the huge dished piston then small chamber heads?? compression with those heads on it will be 9.4 unless you have a typo with the piston dish.
valves are gonna be shrouded to death
and that cam is entirely too big for that setup

i believe it was suppose to be a boost motor, although i didnt want to run boost. i was just gonna toss it in a car and drive it the way it is.

but, that being said.. what changes should i make to make it the way it should be? set of pistons? different set of heads?

well it will work to drive NA, I would definately go with a smaller cam though 23x/24x .600, otherwise its not gonna make anything down low. just dont expect to make huge power with it. Not to mention anything over .600 lift there is no way you will have enough piston to valve clearance

Unless you got a killer deal I'd pass on it, seems like a mismatched combo to me.
