Too bad you can't dyno your car AFTER the JAAM install; curious to see if it would've affected your car...

Dyno wouldn't show anything. But I did have the BGRA and I know it helped by my track times. Hopefully here real soon I will get it back to the track and then I will post my improvements with my JAAM.

Well it has been a while. Have had a lot of different things going on lately and had to stop the modding for a little bit. Good news is that I ordered my exhaust a couple days ago. Got me the Kooks 1 7/8 headers, and Kooks 3" True Dual Exhaust with Quad Tips. Can't wait to get them here and installed.

Here they are just waiting for the Kooks 1 7/8 headers to get back from getting coated. Then the install. After I get them done I will go back to get tuned and dynoed.

nice build! Bet she's going to scream with that kooks gear. I think I will go the same route you took with the koni's.
Keep it up.

Well the Kooks 1 7/8 headers are here. So hopefully I can get this installed in the next couple of weeks.

There is a thread in here somewhere that gives you a contact. Then that person can get you your build number. I am at work and don't have the time to look it up at the moment .

After lots of adjustment I was finally able to get the WS6 out and drive it. All I can say is the Kooks True Dual sounds freaking awesome! I had the GMMG on my other and I like the way it sounded but the Kooks to me sound way better. It does have a low clearance, and a very tight fit. With the help of my good friend it is on the street and running. Now to get it tuned, and then the next mod will be the cam!

I also went with the Midwest Chassis DS loop. From everything I read I went with it and it does provide me with a better ground clearance.

I want to thank everyone for the comments. I'm sorry that I have responded to most of them. I hope to get it back on the dyno and see what kind of power gains I got from my exhaust.

Love SOM. Looks like everything came out awesome, and I bet the Kooks make it sound amazing.

So far I am very happy with the upgrades that I have done. The Kooks TD and headers sound better than I thought they would!

I got my new Nitto extreme performance NT05R DRAG RADIAL - 315/35-17 put on this morning. Hope to get to the track this Saturday, and see what my times are after my Kooks headers and TD install.

Default New best

Well made it to the track today. First time with the Nitto NT05. The track was well prepped and the Nitto's were grabbing good.

First pass I left the line around 3500 rpm and bogged real bad.
13.28@108.31, 2.079 60'

Second pass left at 4500 rpm and it still bogged. Also forgot to turn TC off on this run.
13.20@108.85, 2.082 60'

Third and finally pass left at 5000 rpm and yet bogged again but not as bad.
12.90@109.61, 1.916 60'

I know I can get an 12.7 in it with more rpm on launch. There were a ton of cars there and it was an hour or more between passes. Next time back I will bring it up to 6000 rpm and let it eat and see what happens. I hope that there stock rear and ds will take it. Like I said the track and the Nitto's were working very well.
