MD, DE, PA, VA check in.
SO there seems to be a good bunch from this area and if we can organize some things through the car season i think we could get a solid turn out and have some nice outings.
CaptSlow has mentioned there is something June 5th at Cecil Co Dragway. chime in with times and details for those of us without facebook.
there is a super chevy meet at MIR 8/19 - 8/21 that i think would be cool to get 10+ cadi's all lined up in the show or in the car corral

So check in, post up, and try and organize some **** to do this summer. i am sure most of us are down for a nice drive on a ncie day for a cold one or two and some lunch somewhere.

hey guys, I'm in Newark, DE.
someone from the Facebook group called "CTS-V vs The World" has created an event called "Battle of the Heavy Weights" and it's June 5th at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, MD at 11am, but the track gates open at 8am.
just checked the weather and they're calling for rain, again, so only God knows if this event will actually happen as it's already been rescheduled twice (i think).

kind of sounds like what shows up at the Delaware I95 Rest Stop "meets"
a good showing of muscle cars but once the imports come rolling in..... it's like Fast & Furious all over again. dead serious, mexican hip-hop music & all.

ok, so before i go and actually look into planning this..... how many of y'all would be willing to come to northern Delaware for a dyno day at one of the local shops? we have a few i would look into doing the event (Race Proven Motorsports in New Castle, DE.... Horsepower Addicts in St. George's, DE... maybe even Complete Street Performance in West Chester, PA).
my thinking would be to have this as sort of an all day event where we'd show up to the shop around 9-10am (ish), do the formal meet & greet and move into knocking out some dyno runs. break for lunch, have pizzas delivered between 12-1pm. then back to more dyno runs into the evening. then depending on just how many people come, go to a nice restaurant for dinner as a group.
as cool as it would be to have it a "V1 Only" thing, i feel it's only right to invite the V2/3 guys.... and in all honesty, i'm cool with anything else showing up, just as long as the owner is cool and the car isn't a safety hazard *cough*mustang*cough*
