I know it would be tough, but I would dip the areas around the lights to match the car, or do them in black, and it would look smoother, and the headlights wouldn't stand out as much.

I would have tried by now, the molding for the headlights are removeable. Just wanted the work done first to them. As of this AM the retrofitting has commenced. Once thats done, If anything, atleast for now, I Will dip them black. Just to tie in the other black parts of my car. Can always pull it off it unwanted.LOL

Yep, if I wasnt set on having a matte finish, and wanting to get my feet wet first. That would definitely be the less hassle way to go. I mean who doesn't have a favorite dipp color. That you would want to keep and be able to dipp over that...

throw some dark grey fade to the bottom of the car, like you see Chip Foose do a lot on overhaulin where he would darken the paint a couple shades and spray the bottom and I think it would set it off. It's far from my first choice but i like it more then I thought I would.

Thats sounds like a cool idea. I think the Nebula pearls pretty much use that concept. Rather instead of a subtle fade towards the bottom. It just brings the contrasts out by having deep darker tones on certain parts of the body. While contrasting the lighter parts in the red that pop. Hope that make sense.

Looks good man. Thats pretty much were it all started for me. Matte black or white or some shade of grey. Then I further did some more research and....yea, Nebula Red takes the cake for me.

Thank you. Well gents, I'm not sure if someone called the place that's working on my headlights. Out of the graciousness of there hearts. They offered to black out the headlight moldings. And, yes...unfortunately, I took them up on their kindness and gave the ok....lol

Gorgeous color. Glad to see you're already addressing the headlights. It just looks a bit out of place with everything else darkened up on the car.

Love it and it's even better with the lenses over the headlights.

I really hate pop up headlights honestly.
