Hey guys long story short, I got a 98 Ta I bought it for a track car well after I got under it I noticed they had hit something with it and all the plastic under is busted up pretty bad. Will it be okay to remove all this like the inspection holes besides the air fin "I don't know the correct name for it all" car is a track car with occasional street trips it also will have a fmic. The pic I got is crappy but shows what I'm talking about.
That protects all of the lighting and wiring in the bumper from road grime, dust, water, and the damaging debris that did that damage. If you remove it, you'll likely have more expensive problems in the future.
If its plastic, you can put a patch over the damaged area and truck on. It might be ABS - look for an "ABS" stamp on the plastic. If so, get some ABS cement from a plumbing supply, a piece of ABS to weld on as a patch, clean both parts, chemically weld, and then you are good to go.
That fin/spoiler should be replaced to keep your handling normal.
Thanks six99 would it hurt to leave it off on a mostly track car, it's goin to be a trailer queen to and from there just the possible true street cruise, and in absolutely no rain.

Then don't worry about it if it won't see rain or any bad weather. In my opinion
Mine hasn't had those splash shields on for years, it's a street car that never sees rain. I wouldn't worry about it, just make sure the air dam stays and you're good.
01ssreda it won't have the cruise control so I agree lol.. Spartan it was all busted up pretty bad, I'm assuming you mean the lower rad air dam like the first pic, or will I need the other one too with the fmic on it.

Yes the top pic is the one I was talking about keeping its busted completly off, I got to get a replacement this car seemed to have a previous idiot owner that ran over everything both fender tabs was bent, one broke all the plastic was busted and a spot on the bell housing was even bent back.
