Default 4.8 in a 91 mustang

Well all these years I said Id never buy a mustang Im going to look at a project Saturday. 91 Mustang Gt Hatchback roller with team Z k member and a arms set up for a LS. Comes with a 4.8 back from Brian Tooley with Springs, push rods and a turbo cam. Also has bbk rear suspension componets and rear disk brakes.
Interior is suppose to be in good shape with a 6 point cage. Car looks good from the pics. Im thinking swap the cam out for something like a TR224, Long tubes and a 700R4 trans with a 3600ish convertor. SOmething that is fun to drive and could be driven daily.
What problems will/could I run into in this swap? would like to use factory guages. What is the best harness to find to make a nice swap? Intake sugestions?

PSI harness. Budget will determine intake and the Ford guys will hate it. Other than that? Nothing.

A new conversion harness is really easy, really clean and usually has enough length extra wire to hide the ecm in the car somewhere.
They also have NEW connectors that don't have broken locks, burn damage, grease oozing out of them and a bunch of junky connectors you probably won't be using. PSI's tech line help is very good IMHO, I've had a very good experience with it, installed it, secured it down and not had an issue.

You can use the truck oil pan, but it will hang down very low. Most people use an f body oil pan.
AJE for the k member is what I used. Really happy with it, everything fit well.
