Had an oiling issue and pulled it apart to check bearings. My local engine builder checked everything while it was apart.

Gotcha.... Man I hope that's not the case with mine. I received mine about September 2015 IIRC and it's just been sitting inside the tote in the laundry room.

Sorry to see that you kissed the wall. At least you weren't hurt...that is the most important thing. Keep up the progress...makes good reading!

Axle housing has been shortened 5" per side and Team Z brace kit. Now I'm waiting for Strange Pro Race 35 spline axles and spool. I have Baer SS4+ drag brakes ready to go on too.

I didn't measure the housing when I pulled it out of the car but I found on the internet the factory width is 59.25" and it is 48.75" now so 9.5" total.

Update time: At the end of last season I was running 1/8 mile at a local grudge track and got the time down to consistent 6.2x but because I had the clutch counter weight off the trap speed was off at 107 mph. 60' was also consistent at 1.30.

Over the winter I sent 1-4 gears to Liberty's for faceplating. Went to our local 1/4 mile track yesterday and the first run off the trailer was best ever. 1.27, 6.14@111, 9.59@144.13 and there are still several things that we are working on to knock it down some more.

I didn't get a video of the first pass and spun off the line on second pass but this is the third which I aborted after the 1/8. 1.28, 6.11@105.

What tire are you running? Doesn't look like the drag radial in prior pictures.

On your fastest pass so far..... what was your rpm launch and do you shift off a shift like or do you go by ear?
