Travelled back to MD for the weekend to pickup the car and do one final test to run it on nitrous. This was my first time out in a car of this caliber on the spray.
Ran 8 passes - all very consistent. More vids to follow. This was the best launch though
1.18 60ft with the back wheels. 5.48 @ 130mph to the 1/8th mile - no 1/4 passes. But this equates to a mid to low 8 second run.

Figured i'd drop an update here - World Cup Finals - Import Vs. Domestic is coming up, and this is the race I was building this car for!
She's undergone some pretty drastic weight reduction, she was 3,480lbs race weight in previous passes - we're getting her narrowed down to about 2,900lbs race weight.
She also underwent a solid roller upgrade, with a 900 lift cam. Sounds NASTY! New powerglide as well... and a 500 shot of nitrous.
Prior to today, here is what the car weighed - this weight is before lexan btw - but the doors were hung.
Today, we did this so we can get the carbon fiber roof on the car:
That netted us just a smidge over 70lbs - I weigh approx 290lbs, and I am allowed to be 2875lbs for my class (Street Fighter) and Import vs Domestic. Also, the weight above was done WITH the turbo glide in the car, we switched to the Powerglide and saved 40lbs.
We still have yet to tube the front end, so hoping to lose about 40-50lbs in doing that.
Here is an update - car weighs 2,579lbs now. Brand new motor, built by Brian Tooley Racing. New trans, and A LOT of weight reduction, cage update, and some modifications to the engine bay/cowl.
Just got it wrapped, so here is that:
Should be hitting dyno on tuesday, track on thursday.
