I knew this would get a lot of attention whenever you posted it lol. looks like you're doing it all the right way. what are you doing with the forgestars that came on it since you bought welds??
They are for sale actually :-) $1,000 + $100 shipping. Including tires.
Thanks man - the guy at Autofab was like "We have NEVER worked on an FBody in THIS good of condition, they measured out the frame, lasered and all kinds of **** and we were all like this thing is pristine!"
Kinda made me giggle But they all agreed - this is the way to go to have a perfectly working chassis.
Part of me is sad that that you are tearing up such an amazing car. But the majority of me is excited that you building such an awesome machine. But looks awesome to this point and I'm in for updates.
Just finished up all the wiring today, now some of the interior goes back in, seat - etc.
Rear should be in early next week, off to the dyno, and then some shakedown passes at Maryland International Raceway on the 11th.
When the car was sent out for the cage, they put it on and we asked them to keep it on when they gave it back to us. Not sure where to get it, but it works awesome.
The paint on this car is immaculate. No ghosting at all, no swirls. Pristine condition, so glad it's staying that way!

Mike I had a pro detailer apply a product called Opti Coat to the car not to long after I brought her home. The car had sat inside all its life so the paint was still really "soft" and would scratch so easy. He spent about 5 hours buffing the whole car down to a smooth finish before applying the product.
The stuff supposedly will last the lifetime of the car. If you want to see something cool, pour some water on any painted surface of the car and watch what happens!
