How is a toon an internal mod? LOL

You realize that GM has some motors with VVT....or nah?

If you don't get a tune as soon as you buy your performance car, you don't belong near that car. Wurd!

It's not an internal mod on GM cars, but it is on FoMoCo vehicles. Duh.

I got my car as a repo so got a good deal on it. Hopefully she isn't too picky. 2013+ has the little manual shifting thing if you want to sway her that way for some fun. Just to warn you, stock a6 tune loves to hit fuel cut and almost bog if you take the rpm up too much. It's annoying. I hated the base cloth seats so chose a premium car.

I doubt ls1tech wants to add a fast list for mustangs and create rules for said fast lists. You're more than welcome to contact some moderators and see though since I see you appear to be pretty worked up about it.
Who is asking for a list? It simply would be explained how changing timing in the 5.0/rockers on an LS are basically the same idea, accomplished by different means depending on LS, Modular or Coyote. Then everyone could vote on it.... If changing IE events is good for one it's good for the other. Or you guys can hang on to your douBRO standard.

Would you say opening a Modular to accomplish what you did to the Coyote is a just a tune?

Hey man, if you are under the logic that opening up a poll about mustangs on ls1tech will be conducted without bias, that's on you.

The fact of the matter is one is done by a simple email tune (L99/Br0) while still retaining stock longblock components from the factory and the other is done by physically popping the valve covers and modifying the cylinder head components and valvetrain as a means of modifying the dynamics of the stock camshaft.

Or, maybe you should just ask moderators why they don't feel that should be allowed as a bolt on car.

Pick your poison, cupcake.

I thought you agreed with tech few post up? Now you perceive it wouldn't help you so you take a different position... You are deluded if you think the difference in means to achieve the same outcome dictates bolt on it not. Maybe you can answer, is changing a Modular timing a tune or internal? It's not ok to change cam dynamics (only lift)??? but it is to change entire engine dynamics by completely altering cam timing through the rpms lol... Do you think before you speak?
Let me ask, are you saying embezzlement is ok if it's electronic and not physically done? That it is acceptable to destroy computers with a virus vs with a hammer?

Opening up a motor is not the same as a toon.

My 5.4L does not have VVT, and I am not the least jelly that Coyote can do it in a toon and I can't on mine.

Toon is toon and opening a motor is opening a motor.

It went mid 12's @ 115 in really good air. Goes high 12's @ 111-112 in mediocre air. All on a 235 all season. Seems pretty impressive to me.

It'll have long tubes and a blower soon enough.

Trying to get my new house done first.

Only reason I'm asking is because like Jay I may get a car similar to yours just older (wifey) lol. Fewer mods forsure the better.
