I'll put it in the 6g section and or drag strip.

I got a 4.3 0-60 and a 12.3 1/4 with the performance timer tonight on the way home from work. Does not tell 1/4 mph exactly but it was ~117 range when timer stopped. DA 1300 when I checked. Crap road with fine rock repair/coating a few months ago. Basically coated the road with fine gravel to repair it.

Had a little wheel spin and a bit of a bog (used launch control system).

Think I got a good shot at 11.8-9 Friday night with my drag pack. Well see.

Don't know what the 16.4 is from I've only tested 1/4 once. I think it records 1/4 and 0-60 both regardless of which you choose. I've done a few 0-60 tests so I'm guessing the 16.4 was my quarter mile after getting out of it after 60 lol.

would be cool to meet up at the track. Im going to Milan this Friday. test is from 5pm to 9 pm. temps should be in the 50s.

Im basically stock as well...keeping my warranty for a bit. Stock tune. Just has the drag pack with cast wheels and radials. The rotofab and ported tb might be worth a few hp. but the jury is still out on the rotofab...the others have failed.

should be close runs...
Unless you are going with an E85 tune, don't waste your time tuning your 6gen. Not worth it, especially giving up warranty for 10hp

I agree. The flex kits are up and running. I'll go that route next year at some point. Just debating on that or full exhaust and msd IM with e85 and just tune once

I would enjoy the car stock for about 10k miles or so to be sure you are not going to have any issues, then do full exhaust, MSD intake, rotofab cai, and e85 flex fuel tune at the same time.

I will try that's the plan. Maybe end of next summer I may mod up. It is still quite fun even stock. I'm surprised. My 5g when it was near FBO at 435 rwhp would have had a very hard time with it.

I've already got a rotofab on it and a ported tb . Didn't feel much but should help in the future etc.

Yeah definitely a fun car even stock. Us br0s have to mod to have as much fun. Hopefully 2018 will make them both more competitive off the lot.

That is called chip and seal...it seems to be the new trend for county and state hwy road repair...aside from that not sure why you would run a brand new car on that ****. lol

12.3 sounds about on par with what they are running. Scat pack went 12.4...should be a close race.

Exactly!

You need to keep the warranty for at least a few thousand miles to make sure no problems arise... Particularly with the A8 trans... C7 vettes are having a bunch of A8 issues and you don't want to get stuck with a $6k trans build because you gained 20hp with your tune/e85.

Yes ultra definitely drive it a bit first. My 17 ate a m6 last Saturday and I'm tune only so guess what that means? Yup so far looking at a 3k rebuild (not as bad as I thought). 2857 miles on mine and trans decided it didn't like being beat on

It's not throwing rocks anymore just saying it wasn't the best surface. It's got more in it than 12.3. And that was without the drag pack, RSD, CAI and ptb

People are seeing almost 40 rwhp over stock.

Looks NASTY with the meats on the back!

Good luck tonight... It would be nice to see an 11.80 from a "drag pack only" car.

As for the E85, I haven't been following up on the progress much with them but... I can't believe they are getting 40hp from an E85 tune....You can only gain so much power from timing....Now on a forced induction setup I can believe it but...NA?.. I'd like to see where they are gaining the power from. Its not like its oxygenated Q16...

Race Stars for the win! They aren't gaining 40hp from a e85 tune. Maybe 40 after a tune+E85. I know GM is good at laying **** tunes on cars from the factory so that may be possible.

~If the car was tuned prior to going to E85, It is not going to pick up 40hp. No Way.

Cunningham got 33rwhp. A guy who does his own on c6 got almost 40 with some massaging. From stock.

A guy went 11.7 last December in neg da on a pack. Got a few others 11.8-9.

I like my setup not as light as welds but half the price. Did all the math last night it dropped 75 lbs
Sweeet car camonly love the scats! Will look even better in my rear view!

That sucks!

How did it break? On a hard 1-2 shift? For a tow ride home, it must have broke a main shaft or something.. Crazy to break a TR6060 with a stock car on stock tires...
