Couple interior pieces are plastic that are leather on the 2ss but I have the option of replacing them. I may or may not.

If I drop that much cash on a car and see that coin leave my bank account, it is going to have the options I want from the factory and I'll splurge and spend a few extra grand for some nice features.
Having driven a few 2SS a8 cars, the 1ss just seemed blah. It didn't really help I drove the 2SS cars first. But I can definitely see wanting to save a few Gs for the minimalists who don't like the options like I do. Difference strokes for different folks

Just the ten speed will not close the gap. IMO they need 30 hp and the ten speed to run even. On stock cars with stock converters the torque of the lt1 is proving to be quite the asset in the 1/4.
It needs a small hp advantage and the ten speed to tie or surpass. They are a touch heavier too. A 15 hp bump and the ten would be really great. But I still see that getting edged by the 6g.

Yes someone went 11.9@116 with different better rear tires. Not drag radials. -300 DA. Not sure on track. Otherwise supposedly stock.
The manual crowd was butthurt pushing for it to be on the stock fast list but the mod said no.
I just learned today that with the challenger the a8 has been shown to have less torque management than the manuals. Not sure if it's the same for Ford and GM. This would also explain the larger than expected (IMO) gap between a8 and m6 Camaros and Challengers. They don't even out trap the a8 most of the time. The same night this dude went 120 at atco a manual was just under 116 most of the night. Wtf? I have heard he shifts slow though

Trust me all those features will get you hooked! I definitely wanted leather, sunroof, and blind spot monitor. Mine has absolutely everything available minus mrc (which I honestly thought it had until I got it home). The stereo is ok but nothing to brag home about. My tundra has jbl and imho is better

You guys act like he added nitrous. The DA was the difference. For the 1000 time cai do not gain on these cars when stock. He doesn't have a full drag pack. He is on oem 18 vette in the rear with 28.5 tire that are almost an inch taller than stock.
Why would I post the link if I were trying to hide something. lol I'm so sorry. It's impressive AF. Near rollcage required at some tracks without so much as a tune.

6G got the Bros nervous. They must call a drag pack, rotofab, ported TB 6G a 3mod. When it comes to their 5.0s they have the same exact mods plus full exhaust, intake, and E85 tune and that's just a 3mod bro. LOL. I'm not saying his 6G is stock either. You guys just put too much stock in them 3mod bros, so to speak.
