BTR stage III cam w/ catless 1 7/8 headers
Had my ws6 dyno tuned with the BTR stage III cam and TSP 1 7/8 catless headers today, and put down 351rwhp. Is that a pretty average number for this cam? Also have LS6 intake, BGRA cold air, GMMG exhaust, and 4.10 gears. Could the 4.10's have lowered the dyno number considersbly? I was expecting around 400rwhp. I guess heads and ported tb will be next.

I'll get the printout tomorrow and post it. Car sounds incredible after it was tuned, unfortunately it was pouring down rain so I couldn't test the power.

It was a Dyno Dynamics dyno, otherwise known as the heartbreaker dyno from what I've been reading. But still, 351rwhp sounds crazy low to me with these mods. I was expecting no less than 390rwhp..

Still, only a 30rwhp gain from 1 7/8 headers and a btr stage 3 cam? Something is wrong. Check pushrod legnth maybe even conpression. Regardless of the dyno, op had 331rwhp on this same machine before the cam swap. Something is seriously off

Seems low. I would dyno again on a dyno jet because it's easier to get similar comparisons. The graph would be helpful.
What sort of clutch is in the car? When was it installed?
A friend with a 98 WS6 M6 did the old MTI T1 cam 222/222 with the old MAC headers & LS1 intake, lid etc LS1 intake and made over 360+ rwhp on a dyno jet. I would expect your dyno numbers to be higher than his on a properly calibrated dyno net.
Wish you the best on sorting things out.

Dry day today so I was able to test it out, holy sh-t it's way faster. Can't wait to try another dyno, it's definitely not a 20rwhp difference, feels more like 60rwhp

Yeah I'm pretty pleased with that, the guy who installed the cam convinced me to go with the stage 3 instead of stage 4 because I wanted to keep my low end torque. I haven't really messed with launches because I'm still on my stock 10 bolt and want it to last until I get my 12 bolt. The guy who tuned it said I'd show around 400rwhp on a dynojet, so I'll be seeing how close I am on a local dynojet pretty soon.

Not to bring back an old thread but I was researching the BTR Stage 3 and saw this. I had a 99 SS M6 12 BOLT 3.73 running 1 3/4 pacesetters true duals dumped (3") with a tsp228 cam 228 228 .588 .588 stock 853 heads stock ls1 intake/tb
On a dyno dynamics n/a my car made 333whp. It made 484whp on a "175" shot.
But at 3500lbs w/ me the car went 8.0 @90 and 7.0 @100 bouncing off the limiter.
I was able to put 2 cars on two r35 gtr's that trapped 125 and 126mph 1/4
My car ran like it had 520-530whp or more. A dyno is a tuning tool and should only be looked at as such. Numbers are fun to talk about but the track is where it matters.

My btr stage 4 cam made 3 more hp sae corrected on the same dynojet compared to my ls6 camshaft. I think it made about 385 motor and 515 on a 150 hit. But ran 11.5@120 All motor and 10.5 @131 on spray in a full weight full optioned 6spd ss with a 2000da and headwind. Dynos are tuning tools and tracks are for results.
