As an update, got my car back from the tuner yesterday. No more sticky throttle due to the old BBK and the car runs great- no different than with the BBK. I'll have to get some pics up. The black anodized version looks pretty damn good- makes me wish I had went with a black fast 92 intake as well.

This thread, and the responses by Jason, convinced me to pull the trigger on a 92mm a couple of days ago. Standing behind the product means a lot.

Know of 2 eBay TB near me and they work just fine and the tuner didn't have a issue. Does its job, sensors bolt to it and let's air in. I am all for you get what you pay for. But some products are overpriced and throttle body's is one of them.

This is a great thread. I'm glad someone from warr replied. I've been looking for a cheaper throttle body for the fast 90 I just picked up and cannot justify spending $300 + for a throttle body. Thanks guys!

Looking at these lately. Thinking of pulling trigger this week.

Anyone got one lately and can confirm they work good? Since they are still in business, id guess they do the job!

Im just trying to finish buying parts for the Nova and budget is no more (actually has been out the window for a long time...). Only need this to finish; injectors, a new turbo (sold my 480 for a billet 88 have yet to buy it) and a fuel pump (decided to sell my New Holley 1800 and getting a Magnafuel 4303, unless i decide to cheap out and try the AEM or the 044 ones...) the rest is wiring, plumbing, sensors and switches. And.... TIME. Yeah, about that last part, i just gotta get off my lazy *** and get on it.

So, anyone using and got more feedback??
This thread is a great help for those of us looking for an affordable option when nearing end of project completion and money has all been spent.....

Thanks guy’s,

Thumbs up

Absolutely ZERO issues with my $400 Dorman LS2 intake or my $125 Ebay WARR 92mm Throttle Body...

Made one small throttle screw adjustment to get IAC counts in spec, and haven't needed to touch, or even think about, it again...

Car drives like stock at any speed, any rpm...zero issues tuning.

Have a WARR 92mm on a ported TBSS intake on our H/C LS1 - drives like a beaut.

Getting another one for our turbo build since it works so well.

Has anyone compared the size of the Warr 92 to the Nick Williams 92? I know the Holley was quite a bit smaller than the NW.

oh really?? Thats interesting....

You know, one thing im also interesting into looking up is the difference in TB size vs Horsepower attained/ gained. If inremember correctly there isnt really much to gain from even a stocker to a 105. Its been awhile since i looked into this but im getting ready to buy my latest for my turbo set up and its part of the stuff im looking into just for personnal knowledge.

My hi ram is a 105 and im looking into a 102 Warr unit lol!! Hey, they dont make a 105!! ....and i got the ‘Ram new but second hand so it was a deal i couldnt pass up and thats why its a 105.

Thanks for the comments, nice to confirm they do work well. I’ll be ordering with peace of mind. Cant come to even think id want to pay for a Holley TB when something like the WARR is available... the folks at Holley must really think we’re stupid. No disrespect meant to anyone who bought one of course (hey, honestly, i was gonna pay for one...) as they are nice too. But like everyone is saying, what’s the reason?? And what is making a block of aluminum with a blade worth this much??!! The comparision with a Carb which has so many little intricate and delicate parts and functions many times more critical... yet is sold for about same!!

Ahh.... i prolly never will get an anwser.... and frankly i dont care at all LOL!!!

Ordering my Black WARR 102!!!

Thanks guys!

Only thing I can add is that my WARR 92mm throttle body matches my Nitrous Outlet 92mm nitrous plate, which matches my Dorman LS2 intake opening.

I'm going to throw my two cents into this thread (again, if i've already posted in it.) this is on a bolt on LS1 with a FAST102.

i had an ebay throttle body that worked decent with tuning. it would choke if the startup was freezing weather. i simply could not tune that out, since the IAC passage was just too small to flow enough for the large IAC count required at a startup on those low temps.

tried the nick williams 92mm. i had to revert to the stock idle settings for it to work right.

yeah, you read that right. effectively no tuning for it to run correctly. got the blade to rest where i wanted it and reset the TPS, and it still runs amazing.

the IAC passageway size and shape matters immensely. i haven't seen the WARR in person, but most 90+ cheap throttle bodies all look the same, and they will probably all have the same issues. if it has a tiny IAC passageway, i wouldn't bother with it.

there's a fellow on my forums who modded a ebay TB to have a larger IAC passageway, and got it to run decently. i may try the same on my old one to see if it runs ok.

the money is really worth it with a nick williams, i learned a bit about idle tuning going with the cheap throttle body, though, and don't regret the experience.
