Does the low mount alt on corvette spacing require clearancing of the block like other low mount kits?
It can be installed at at the Corvette, F-body or truck offsets; no grinding/relieving of the block is necessary.

I'm assuming you are referring to a release date. If so, I've not heard anything concrete at this point.

No, whether it fits all LSx spacings or is truck specific

Update:
Did some research of my own

Turns of the accessory drive is only available for Fbody and truck spacing (middle and long by their terminology)
The AC bracket will fit all three belt spacing systems

Corvette and LSA guys can now have low mount aftermarket AC but will have to use the older style Holley bracket (First post, second pic) or a similar OEM piece

Prolly just the truck being it's VVT. I would imagine they. Will offer the required spacers (short: mid. Or long) just like their LS FEAD

So we're all on the same page, the new Holley LS low-mount A/C compressor bracket will install at the Corvette, F-body and truck offsets; all parts/adapters to accomplish that will be included in the kit with no extra spacer kits to buy in this time around.

Glad you cleared it up. So does Holley have a release date yet?

I've not heard anything regarding a release date yet, but I know the project is beyond the design phase and into the tooling phase.

That's a good sign.

Hi Todd -

Will this setup work with Non-AC 67-69 Camaros? I have only seen mention of the possible AC compressor fitment wit the truck spacing.

If the answer is yes, which spacing style would work?

I've not done any specific test fitting on a 1st-gen F-body at this time, but from what I know about the fitment of the stock 4th-gen F-body FEAD, it should install at the truck offset with no issue and at the F-body offset by notching the subframe under/behind the alternator. I don't suspect the low-mount A/C compressor set-up will be installable in the 1st-gen F-body application at any offset when used with the Hooker 1st-gen LS swap engine brackets.

I don't possess any release date info due to them being designed by another group of engineers. Here's the images you PM'd me about showing the set-up mocked up on the Fox body swap vehicle. The SD7B10 is the only compressor that will fit in the bracket and it kisses the factory anti-sway bar when used with the coming Hooker Fox-body engine swap mounting brackets, so you will have to space the bar down for clearance. It is shown installed at the Corvette spacing in these images.

Yea I purchased the pan the beginning of January and been waiting since. Really sucks because that's the only thing that's keeping me from dropping the motor in my swap. Seems like every time I log in the date is pushed back 2-3 days.
