Interesting that the D1sc made more torque, but I still think the D1x is the way to go for me in a GTO with little 275 drag radials. I'm sold on it as soon as I get the rear and trans built to handle it that's the route I plan to take.

Bob - I'm still looking at bolting this on my 11:1 TEA LS6 headed 346 with the FAST 102. I plan to pick up some Diamond dished pistons and Compstar rods and bring my compression down to 10:1... 93 + meth. Or I might do a flat top and keep compression near 11:1 if the meth injection does it's job.

I think I'd be at 700rwhp at 10psi? Motor makes 470rwhp through an unlocked 4000 stall now and will be switching to a triple disk 3600 stall... Might even be able to clear 850-900 with it turned all the way up especially with the higher compression?
I'd be inclined to leave it at 11:1 and use methanol. 700 rwhp at 10 psi is indeed attainable. Look at what stock LS3's are doing with boost. Thanks. Bob

thanks man! that's a great overlay chart. I'm sold on this. I bet once you pulley it down a touch and put the blower in a better efficiency range you'll get all that mid range back and maybe more.

honestly if my car dropped 40-50tq in the mid range it would likely be faster on the street as its pretty hard to get traction so I'd happily trade 50tq at mid range to gain 70whp+ at the high end

very interested to see how this same chart looks once you overlay the dyno curve from the new setup with D1X pulley'd down a bit.

What was the boost on each of the pulls on the graph? Maybe I missed it.

Yeah honestly the last thing I need is more torque especially with a car this light.

I don't recall the intake you are running but at this point I bet there is more to pickup with a big bellmouth velocity stack too just for track days or mexico runs

I run the DP big mouth. I know I could pick up a good bit with a velocity stack but I'm gonna stay away from them. Don't want anything to damage the blower.

What's the cost to swap a D1SC to a D1x?

It's around $1500.00. You might be better off selling your D-1SC and buying a new D-1X head unit, it just depends on what you can sell your D-1SC for. Thanks. Bob

I just recently purchased a 13' ZL1, because I missed the LS power of my G8. I like the looks of my Camaro and its a fun car to drive for the most part, but I'm not a fan of the roots blower, when I compare it to the F1-D I had on my G8. I'd like to sale the tiny TVS1900 blower one day and install another Procharger F1-D or maybe the new D1X. This may sound counter intuitive or sacrilege to a lot of people, because its a great platform and I know I can make power with the current setup, but I like what I like and need to do some research on how to make this happen.

Not sure if I mentioned it but during the testing on my car the clutch started to slip a little bit so they stopped. A triple disc is going in soon and we'll test again with the current pulley and with a smaller one to see what it will really do.

Will do, once I figure out which parts I'll need other than an LS3 intake manifold. I'm also still trying to determine if I'll have to switch out the entire accessory drive in order to install a Procharger kit.

the triple is a great mod. good to know you never have to do it again. pumped to see the smaller pulley results!

It arrives on the 10th and I'm picking the car up on the 20th. Can't wait to drive it again.
