Default 4T65e Trans-go Kit

I put the trans-go kit on my 07MCSS with 100k, got it from TEP, only put in the springs and spacers at the accumulator, and it fixed a lot of hesitation, slipping and chattering. Only thing now is hard shift 2nd-third. The kit comes with more springs for the valvebody but I did not tear the trans that far.

Any fix for the 2-3 hard shift? or is this just the wear on the transmission?

Also, to take the transmission out the bottom, what can be used to hold the engine on top? I've seen a bar on youtube but not sure what that is or where to get it. Can a floor jack cross beam be used for this if the pads are placed at top of struts?

Engine support sits in the fender rails and holds the motor up. Harbor freight sells them, or you can make your own.

Try some Seafoam trans tune and see if that helps any, for sue it wont hurt anything.

Thanks for the info, that bar is not too expensive at HB. I was hoping someone had used the cross beam before with no issues since its rated for 2Klbs would chime in.

I added the Lucas transmission additive, the bottle says sometime it may take two bottles to see results.

Either way, I'm starting to save up for a TEP rebuild.

The Lucas is thick, and may help if its slipping but that's it. The Seafoam trans tune is very thin, and acts as a cleaner. I have used it many times, the results have always been excellent in the way the car shifts. Its worth a try. Most just use something homemade. Triple edge sells this, its a little beefier.

This post has a better pic of what works.

I'll try the seafoam. Thanks for the links to the engine support bars.
