Maybe even throw an IRL "rain chain" in the mix...

Not trying to sell. Im actually genuinely interested as ive seen hinson marketing the c7r chain etc and have done some background search on both of those other chains and sets.

I agree. After comparing the two chains side by side I cannot see a difference at all. There aren't even any color differences to suggest peening, heat treat, passivation etc. My motor was all buttoned up with the Hinson chain prior to the genesis of this thread. I bought the Katech chain but after close examination I left the hinson one in place. A would love to see a test of some sort.

These haven't been made in years, do you have stock? Last I knew, SDPC bought all of the remaining sets from Cloyes.

They do have more...but those are the 2 main ones. They are avail in double row and single row.
I see a total of six 3/8" pitch simplex timing chains that JWIS manufactures.

What the hell is wrong with Hinson? I hate shady shops like that.

We know some people. Its really about supply and demand. It would be no small order...like LITERALLY.

I found a pic of the Ls2 chain vs the IRL chain vs the IWIS N chain. (in that order )

I do as well, and the IRL chain hasn't been produced in years. It was hand built and there was no market for it. Last I knew SDPC only had a few sets and not sure on Lingenfelter.
