Beautiful work there! How’s it work on the street as far as coolant temps and IATs with the intercooler and radiator layin down like that?

I like the Sniper due to the lower profile. I would have to get a TB adapter for my 3 bolt TB and it doesn't have throttle cable mount location from what I can see.

I have a holley high ram and have tried others... But have not beat it.. I make over 1500 rear wheel with a single 88mm turbo so that's where I would go. spending $4500 on a mercel billet isn't even worth it.

Yea, I like the Hi Ram except for the fact of it being so tall. I am going to measure the height once I get the engine back into the truck to see if it will fit under my hood.

It was 98* here when I finished the car and coolant temps never got over 187*. The intercooler is built with a garret core and on pulls to 155mph it never gets over 25* above ambient. There is actually more airflow over both in this position than standing up in a stock position. Its a street car and on 16psi its making 700whp and on 25psi 1040whp. Owner is getting used to the power before we turn it up more.

The lower section is boxed in for airflow.

I think somebody stole the Ford emblem off of that Mustang's grill.

What size charge pipe and what size TB were you able to get on that 'race' version Holley Sniper.

I had one of the very first ones, it wasn't a bad piece. Still seemed Chinese to me, I sent it back, but if I recall a 92mm TB opening.

Here are the only 2 pics I have of it. The uncoated pic the angle wasn't quite correct for the cable. In the coated pic it was changed.

DBRODS, What rpm are you hitting? I hear these lose bottom end a bit and have to be spun higher to get into the power. Im trying to decide between this intake an the Hi Ram. Of course I launch at 4k+ and am at 6k instantly on the track so it never sees below 6k when at the track. Forged bottom end so now I can spin it higher too. Was at 7k limiter, now that will go up.

I just like the lower profile on the sniper which keeps my truck hood stock.
