Went to test and tune tonight, damn what a difference the TQ converter made. Got in the 10s!!!! Ran a 10.8 at 138 very first pass. Was told to slow down lol they let me run 1/8 mile the rest of the night. Now time to make this thing safe.
Wow 33mph back half. Does the car have a trans brake? If not you could try the sloppy brake.
No trans take yet. Since it was the first pass I wasn't even trying to go 10s. I wasn't all the way in, second and third gear shift at around 5500 only reason I went that fast was because mid track I got on it trying to catch the car next to me. They told me I had to slow it down and made some 1/8 mile passes got my 60ft down to a 1.7, it's probably a high nines car now very happy with it.
Got some preview shots of the car, dropped it off at GB racecraft in Rancho Cordova a few weeks ago. They did the cage, subframes and TQ boxes. So far it looks good can't wait to pick it up.
Keeping with the budget build, I made a gauge pod out if the vent and finished up the interior. Eventually I'll throw in a center council and some carpet.
On the brakes and still went 10.7. I was in a bracket race lane and there was a jackpot got close to winning the thing.
A little update on the car, I found out I only had a 7psi spring in the wastegate lol thought it was a 10 pound spring. So I put the ten pound spring in it and went to the track. Got a best 60ft and car ran great. In a couple weeks I'll be pulling the motor and put in a ls2 rotating assembly. I want to get up to around 800 wheel and maybe get in the 9s
Man those are some unreal numbers! Great build and thread. I'm throwing a lq4 408 stroker in my 92 notch. N/A for a summer or two then going turbo. Going manual though with the t-56 magnum. I hope to make over 500 to the wheels N/A, but that might be a tall order haha.

Go with some high compression, E85 and I think you'll reach your goal. Good luck with your build and have fun!!!
How much power do you guys think she will put down. Heading to the dyno later today. We are gonna start with around 15psi and see if I have enough fuel for that.
Quick summary of the build.
T4 7668 billet wheel turbonetics
Tial mvs 44mm wastegate
228 .575 112lsa comp cam
Ls2 rotating assembly
317 heads
Walbro 450 pump with 80 pound injectors
4l80e with a cirlce D 3800 stall billet tripple disk converter
Well ran out of fuel as in other examples a single walbro 450 pump and 80 pound injectors is only good for around 600 wheel. Air fuel was starting to go lean above 6k rpm. I'm gonna try and build my own fuel system. Adding a second 450 pump and some fic 127 injectors. Here are some shots of what thinking of doing.
Fuel tank out of a 99 mustang GT has the larger fuel hat. This should give me plenty of room to mount up two pumps. The feed is 3/8 so should be large enough enough for the return.
Got some bulkhead fittings on the hat but I may reposition them as they won't clear the truck floor so I'd have to cut a hole in it
This should keep the pumps from moving around too much and I'll secure them together.
