Yes not the easiest position to run the downpipe. It's close to the cold side but I wrapped it I exhaust wrap and also placed a heat shield where it comes close to the intake tube. With the wheel full left if it hits a bump it will hit the pipe but I doubt I'll have to worry about that since I don't drive the car on the street much....
