Just to update on the the car, I pulled out the motor tore it down replaced the pistons. Bearings looked perfect. Turned out to be the blowoff valve making that noise lol.... Also, the car is for sale....
i just listened to a rant from Matt (sloppy Mech) about how he never runs a blow on any turbo ever lol.
With the boost at about 20psi the car now makes 855hp and 729tq. This little 7575 turbonetics turbo has been putting in some work... Tq is low because I didn't have a lock up switch wired in. Timing was only at 12 degrees.
Finally got around to installing the bump box I made a while back. This is all stuff you can get off Amazon.
A multifunction delay relay timer and relay. Seems like it's going to work very nicely.
This thing should make some serious power considering your 7575 made some serious power. When do you plan to tune and dyno this thing?
I was surprised how far the small 7575 went great turbo.
For now I'm actually going to turn it down to 16psi with this turbo. I'm in the process of building a forged 6.0, then I'll turn it up to 20psi. I'd imagine it's gotta be close to 1000 wheel. Should be done in the next few months.
Pulled the junkyard 4l80e for rebuild. The clutches were burned. Got a billet input shaft and some good clutches in it. Also ordered a Jake's d3 brake. My goal is to be in the 8s this year.
Finally took care of the rear suspension. I was still running the factory upper control arms. The bushings were shot ofcourse. Went with upr fully adjustable and their solid heavy duty bushings. The pinion angle was way off. Went to the track a few weeks ago and man what a difference, car feels planted and went nice and straight.
I'm surprised you made only 50hp more than the 7575. Still more tuning needed to be done?
We lowered timing from 16 degrees to 12 to so hopefully save the rods. Tuner is one of the best in the area, he knows how to help these sbe motors live. Also, this is a different Dyno which the tuner said typically reads around 50 to 70hp less.... We'll see how it does at the track coming up in June but the motor has to be breathing better now...
I'm in the process of building another 6.0 with forged internals so we can really take advantage of the turbo...

I missed the timing part. Still very impressive numbers for your build
I got it all from their website.
200 for the control arms and 120 for the bushings I got the extreme series which are a bit larger. Their bushing removal tool made it super easy to remove and install the bushings.
