Thanks, it took about 6 hours per wheel. I'm running the drag radial 555R's in the rear and street 555's in the front.

So you gained about 30 hp just with a dyno tune over the Frost tune?

While dyno tuning the car, we noticed that it was passing oil on decel. After researching I found that I forgot to seal my rocker arm bolts since these heads are ported. Easy fix.



First time auto crossing in general, it was a blast. Car handled very well, even on drag radials.

Yeah, I was skeptical but the Frost tune was very rich. This was on a DynoCom dyno also.

Cool deal, my head lamps are Depo 335-1122P-US2. Previous owner installed them but I had the same set on a 98 Camaro I had.

Put it on the scale after doing the front bumper support, rear seat, and radio delete.



Unfortunately had a full tank of gas. Not bad for a T-top car.



I drove it for a few months without the front grille just to change up the look.

Car is on Koni Yellows and Vogland springs. I removed the rear isolators and SS bumpstop spacers. Had to roll the rear fender lips.


Entered it into the local Pepboy's dyno challenge and won highest horsepower NA.



Car put down 438/380 on this dyno, IATs were in the upper 90s.




Added a 67 SS emblem to the grille. Also stripped the black side marker and tail lights for a cleaner look.



Looks a lot better without the rake.



Local car meet with fellow LS1tech member.



Back at the track chasing an 11 sec run.

The Speed Engineering Dual exhaust kit was being pushed into my fuel tank by the rear axle. It was also loud and droned at HWY speeds. I pulled off the piping after the x-pipe and sold it. Then I bought (2) Magnaflow 5" mufflers and had the exhaust show weld them in.

*Just an update guys, last week of Dec 17 I spun piston rod bearing #3 while doing a burnout at the drag strip. Since then I've dropped the engine out of the car and completely disassembled the block. I parted out and sold pretty much the complete engine.

Yeah man, I was lucky I didn't make the pass and blow a hole through the block. Gives me a good reason to upgrade and install a tubular k-member.

Spun a rod bearing in the burnout box.



Ran a 12.09 @ 120 on the previous run.





Back at home, beginning the tear down, took me about 2 weeks before I had the interest in tearing it apart.

Dropped it from the bottom with a 1.5 ton jack.
