Default PRC stage 2.5 862 heads

Just wanted to show you guys the outcome of me sending a pair of 862 heads to Texas Speed for their stage 2.5 build on them. The heads came back AMAZING! They don't even look like the heads that I sent out the porting is amazing and the cleaned was amazing with the new valves in them. For the price you can't beat the quality of them. Can't wait for spring time to hit so

Looks good. I run those exact heads as well. Great bang for the buck

If they do the same black friday sale this year as they just had this past year I'm going to have them do my 243's.

great company to work with for sure. I was thinking about buy a pair of ported 243's from Thompson motorsports but went to Texas speed instead. I was given the 862 heads for free from a friend. Heard great things about them when you upgrade valves and everything will also bump up compression.

Look good.

Make sure to run thread sealant on the intake rocker bolts.

Yep I remembered that after I posted lol. Either one of those choices would have been fine, but if I remember right these heads were a tad cheaper overall right?

I'm not the one putting them on. I take them to a place and they do all the work and also do dyno tuning in house after all the parts are on. They should use the thread sealant on the bolts I'll make sure they do anyways though. Thanks for the info!

yeah they were like 40 bucks cheaper I think. Nothing crazy but from the flow charts these flow better than them and should bump up compression for more hp

Texas Speeds Black Friday is about as good as it gets. Been like that for quite a few years. I try and tell everyone I know that's when and where to buy parts. Nitrous outlet has really good deals every year also.

no milling. They told me with these that I didn't really have to mill them because these heads already bump the compression up a decent amount
