Default Flame On!

i own a 98 Z28 and i would like to know if there is any way i can get flames to come out of my exhaust pipes. i know it sounds like a worthless thing to do, but i think it would really be a cool thing to have done, ive never seen anyone else do it in person. Does anyone know what kind of kit i would need to do this? I am stock right now but plan to add a Borla catback with Hooker ORYP and Hooker LTs. Thanks.

the kit they had consisted of a spark plug in the exhaust pipe running off a secondary coil, to get fuel to go thru the pipes so the last plug would lit it up, they had a switch in the car that stopped the engine's coil so that all that fuel wouldnt get burnt up and would get dumped in the exhaust.

Mine used to do it on it's own before I got it fixed. Bad check valves on the AIR system will cause it, thats what happened to mine. http://www.ls1sounds.com/magnaflow/m...Y_flamesTA.MOV Don't mind the way I was reving it up
I was trying to make it do it, thats why I reved it like that.

lt headers, no cats and a good straight through muffler will do it as long as you don't get a tune...running rich will make the gas that was not burnt in the chambers explode in your exaust and cause flames.

It's possible, sure. Maybe you'll find it worth your
while. If it were me I'd rig a spare fuel injector off
the main line, a chatter relay driving a coil and spark
plug, there you go. Using a fuel solenoid & jet from a
wet nitrous kit is another option. You want the spark
in either case though. Been done plenty of times, I'm
sure you can dig up a how-to.

a lot of the classic cars (carbs mind you) just give it a bunch of gas, and have a spark plug wired to the tip of the tail pipe

butttttttt wouldn't you end up melting your bumper? since our tips don't stick out very car?
