Default can you guys post up your 408 results/setups here?

after realizing i can make ~50 rwhp more for the same price going with a 408 i think that is the route i am going to take. i just want to see the setups you guys are running and the power you make.

heads
cam (if you dont want to give exacts just close range lift and duration please)
compression
who built it
power/torque@rpm
ect...

i just want to get a feel and please comment on drivability around town and what gears you guys like to run in teh rear. thanks

Here's a tip, just keep it below 5252 rpms and you'll always have higher torque than hp..

I dont understand why people are concerned with this? Your motor rev's well beyond 5252 rpms and you want power all the way till redline..

Mine did 440hp 437ftlbs. & 620hp & 637ftlbs. (TNT 200 with no bottle warmer & crappy bottle pressure) on a crappy LS6 intake & stock TB with no underdrive pulley. The car had about 500mi on it at the time. List of mods include, FFHP 408ci, Patriot Stage III LS6 heads, Comp 244/248 .612/615 113lsa LS6 intake, stock TB, Pacesetter LT's, open cutout, Rossler 4l60e, TCI3500, 3.73's. 10.7-1 CR. The LS6 intake setup was creating alot of vaccum so it was chocked up real bad, havent had a chance to redyno yet.

Ive since added the fast 90mm intake & the NW 90mm TB. That should open it up a bit, Im also going with a higher CR, somewhere along the lines or 12.1-1 or so.

It has defiantly made a difference I just havent gotten around to redynoing to see what it gained. I may try & do that soon. Im still running the standard 1 3/4 headers.
