Default Stock Bore Dish Diamond Pistons

Diamond Forged Dish Pistons.

No signs of detonation and I never had any problems with these.

My block's bore is a bit too large to use stock bore pistons so I had to get a set of custom ones made to get my piston to bore clearance to street motor specs.

Save yourself a couple hundred $ and strengthen up your bottom end.

SOLD

Specs:

3.905" bore

3.622" stroke

6.125" rod

-8.6cc dish top

Edit:
Part # 11503 (Except no rings included)

Only includes pistons! Rods are NOT for sale!

Just for the pistons like it states in BIG BOLD RED letters at the end of description

The pistons were over $600 new and so are the rods so that would be a deal of a lifetime....haha

Pistons are OBO now

Mine are 11503.

Only difference is instead of -2cc valve reliefs on yours mine have -8.6cc dish. Slightly less compression for boost.

Do these fit the stock bore as you indicated. I was thinking the stock bore was 3.89 or something like that. I am asking because I may be needing some pistons for a new stock bore LS6. Get me straight on this, please.

Kinda curious too.. I thought the bore was 3.899 or something.. so you need a 3.903 piston for a 3.905 bore?

A 5.7 Liter LS1 Block has a 3.898 STD Bore

These pistons are for stock bore. With any re-build you hone the cylinders which removes some material and the engine builder needs to set the proper piston to bore clearance.

I put these pistons in my stock ls1 so these are meant for a re-building a stock block.

After honing my cylinders a 2nd time these pistons were .005 " too small and I wanted the piston to bore clearance to be tighter for my street car so that's why I'm not running them anymore but they are perfect for forging a stock LS1 block.
