Hello my name's Franz I own a 2000 z28. I bought it to run a circle track at seekonk speedway in Massachusetts. I also plan to drag it in new Hampshire one day. My current upgrades are slp loudmouth cat back exhaust. Qa front and rear sway bars, umi rear lower control arms, qa panhard bar and qa rear shocks should have bought koni one day I'll switch them. The next thing I want to buy is c5 Corvette rims 17x9.5 all around from oe wheels. Any suggestions on tires Im considering nitto nto5

You looking at the NT05 or NT05R?

Well I saw the nt05r look even better tread for drag but oe wheels doesn't sell those they only have nt05. Do you think there's a big difference?

after more research I think I'm going to go with nt555 up front and nt555r extreme drag in back. Still interested in what you guys have to say.

The difference between the NT05 and NT05R is pretty big in terms of traction, but of course they will wear out much quicker. The 555R will kind of be in between those two

Thanks for you help!! How you like 4.10s in the stock 10 bolt. I know alot of people say the stock 10 bolt is like glass but I want to change the gears to 4.10s too

I really like the 4.10's. With a 6 speed and 450 rwhp n/a it's perfect IMO. On the 150 shot not so much lol. The 10 bolt is better than some people give it credit for. Hard launces and wheelhop will kill it fast though. Plus sticky tires and 4.10's don't help either. I've been very lucky lol
