couple pulls between the car I helped my brother in law build, and a buddy’s car.
95 camaro lm7 stock everything but cam
fti custom grind /headers/ random converter/3.73/ls6 intake
99 ws6 6.0 with fti cam, 3200 circle d stall, full weight and then some, 3.42 gears, ls6 intake, Bolton’s
first race yellow car car spun, second race red car spun.

I wouldn’t think it could be much. Mod list is literally
stock lm7 never had the heads off 706’s
fti cam 227/231 .612/.612 114
large converter, no idea stall speed but it was built for a pulling tractor
$95 eBay headers
ls6 intake
3.73 gears
th350
I’m very pleased with this 5.3 setup, it’s working very well for very minimal work
FTW!

He’s going to be racing my 73’ camaro with an ly5, ported 706’s, custom grind fti cam, Jakes 4400 converter and 3.73 with mamo ported ls2 intake and headers today/tomorrow. So we will find out if all these cars he’s whooping are turds or if it’s just that quick.

Wow..I could see if the WS6 was a manual car but being that it was also a stalled auto, I am surprised that you put so many lengths on him from a dig. That was not even close.
Just curious, did you do a roll race also? Curious to see if it was a power difference or just a better launch on your part.
Were you both on a DR?

Red xar bought a 3800-4000 stall from a guy and looked the pRt number up and it’s a 2800-3000, the yellow car has somewhere around a 5000 stall lol. Yellow car is on a toyo proxes RR, 245. Red car on 275 street tires. They both spun the first race, the second race the red car spun worse and the yellow car didn’t at all.

sn95 had issues and got here late, didn’t have time. It ran over a second slower at the track than the yellow car so it probably would have looked about like this video. I’ll be racing him with my car when I get some tires on it that hook. These 285 nitto 555r2 aren’t cutting it

So it appears that the difference of your high stall converter and DRs vs his lower stall, street tire combination made the biggest impact on the outcome of the race. This makes sense since the race was pretty much over in the first 60ft.
